Foster parents provide a significant service by creating a safe environment for children and youth to grow, learn and thrive.
Safe Haven Children’s Services provides foster parents training and support to help them care for children with emotional or behaviouralproblems and mental disorders. Those who care for foster children provide more than a home — they create hope in a child’s life during a
critical stage of development, helping them grow into healthy, well-adjusted individuals. Foster Parents have (twenty four hour a day, three
hundred and sixty five days a year) access to clinical support via cell phone and on call management personnel and receive two days of
relief per month and emergency relief as needed.
